Incredibly delicious cake on the hottest Saturday of the year we have this pastry shop (located a bit in front of the very touristy bars / restaurants etc. in Brühl and can therefore be easily overlooked!) here to drink coffee. It's a traditional and long-established pastry shop, which you can see in the interior. But all of the pies and cakes not only looked very good, they also tasted fantastic! (the plum cake a dream ...) The boss is very happy to give recommendations and has an excellent Rhenish sense of humor. Next time Brühl, back to Guglhupf!

Was on a business trip and had to eat. Since it looked very good from the outside, I'm in. The staff 1 person😁 was very attentive and friendly. The interior could do with updating, but it wasn't that tragic now. Breakfast for two was a lot, we didn't manage to eat everything. I would come back here again.

Once and never again. I have never experienced anything so unfriendly as today. First you are snapped, then you see something on the display that is apparently reserved and only gets said "for you not". Wow. Never again. And that's the current situation ... they seem to be doing too well. I'm absolutely horrified right now.

The waitress (Saturday 29.2.2020, 14.00) behind the cake counter should think about who will ultimately pay their salary ... snappy, annoyed and unmotivated! I love spending my money in Cafe Amadeus ... Gugelhupf won't see me again !!!!

Good cakes, including hot dishes every day. Popular because the café is close to the retirement home. There is also a café in the house, but guests like to go to the Guglhupf. I've rarely been there. You can always find free spaces there, which is often not the case in other houses.

Delicious. The cream cakes are great. But the ice sliver is also one of our favorite pieces

An important part of our excursions to interesting destinations is always the visit of a nice cafe. After capturing the local sights with the camera, the stomach finally wants to experience something beautiful. Already on the way from the castle Falkenlust to the castle Augustusburg, we already noticed the Cafe Gugelhupf in the city center. Before we move on, we spontaneously decided to take a break. Already at the sight of the well-filled cake counter we got a "Wauhh" over the lips. With this large selection of cakes and pies, we found it really difficult to limit ourselves to just 2 pieces of cake (per person!)! The service was very friendly and even had time for a quick chat. We really felt very comfortable there and can therefore highly recommend a visit to the cafe!

I had a very first impression about Cafe Guglhupf. As a tourist, I think that local establishments should be more receptive with the income they can bring. I only have one word to describe what I'm feeling now, he hates. I had a very poor service, to speak the truth, not answered I went. I sat down at the table and not even the menu were able to bring so that me and my partner could choose what to drink. I hope the same will not happen with the next clients, because if this happens again, your business will finally have its end.
